There is a reason that so many store shelves are lined with an ever-expanding variety of products claiming to be miracle acne cures. Not only are companies trying to tap into one of the most profitable niches of our market today, but they are trying to convince people just like you that their products are all you need to clear up your skin problems forever.
The big issue with all of those products in their trendy packaging, accompanied by a high price, is that in order for them to actually be a permanent cure you would have to use them for the rest of your life.
For those of us who have struggled–or currently struggle–with acne, we’ve all tried our fair share of products, and it can be exceedingly frustrating to waste money on the products that don’t work.
What about all-natural products? There are so many advertisements cropping up in the media for natural acne treatment, but can a change of diet and exercise really play a major role in curing our acne outbreaks?
It’s a tough idea for many people to seriously consider, but that is exactly what you should do if you are serious about clearing up your skin. People who lose large amounts weight are not just rewarded with smaller waistlines. Most of them report an end to acne and the start of beautiful, glowing youthful skin as well.
The acne that a lot of people suffer from is not actually caused by the oil or bacteria in the skin. The real cause of the problem is what is going into the body on a regular basis.
It’s probably not news to you that eating an abundance of fried or oily foods can contribute to acne breakouts. There are many causes of acne, and not all of them are due to oils and fats. Some people can have acne breakouts from stress or a change in hormones.
The only short-coming that people find to the healthy diet and fitness approach to treating acne can be the commitment required to maintain what is essentially a change of lifestyle. One has to remember that whichever treatment option is chosen, it will most likely require a lifetime commitment, either by using acne products for the rest of their life or the transition of eating habits to a healthier style (not to mention the energy-boost and overall increase in health that will result).
